You will find your purpose. You will feel inspired again. But the best thing you can do in this moment is to tend to your own well-being, so when that spark of clarity comes, you’re ready for it.
Think of this time as a training ground, a quiet preparation phase.
That’s what it was for me.
There was a period in my life where I kept asking, “What is my purpose? Why am I here? What am I meant to be doing?”And the answers didn’t come straight away. I still had to go to work, do things I wasn’t particularly passionate about, and keep showing up for life.
But I believed something better was coming.
So I focused on getting myself into a better place.I healed myself in more ways than one, changed my lifestyle, found presence and focused on being loving and kind to myself. So when the spark finally came, it was perfect timing, because I was ready for it.
What To Do Next
So if you’re in that unclear space right now, here are a few gentle practices that helped me:
🌀 Sit in stillness. Let the questions hang in the air. You don’t need immediate answers.
🌀 Drop into your body. What feels heavy? What feels light? What would feel good right now?
🌀 Nurture yourself. Rest, nourish, tend to your nervous system. Get sunlight, movement, sleep.
🌀 Trust that clarity will come. It always does, when the time is right.
A Gentle Reminder
Try to accept things as they are right now. If something can be changed and it’s in your control, go for it.
But if not, work with what is in your power, and let the rest be.
Try not to rush. There’s growth happening underground.
You are still evolving, even if nothing looks like it’s moving.
And truly, working on yourself is movement. It’s the deepest kind of progress there is.
